TOM DOWD GROUP is very extra extremely excited to announce the release of our full-length instrumental jazz album "Player 0036." Recorded over 2 days in late 2018 at Revivalhouse in Brighton, MA, Player 0036 breaks new ground modern jazz improv while remaining true to the roots of this distinctly American genre. All six tunes were written by guitarist and bandleader Tom Dowd, who is supported by Evan Waaramaa (keyboards), Greg Toro (upright and electric basses), and Steve Wilkinson (drums). Colin Edgar (alto and tenor saxophones) joins for two tracks as well.
